But back to CHANEL!

I am still thinking about this collection and show. I am really starting to love the silhouette in the first part of the show with the boxy top, corseted waist, and low slung skirt. Yasssss! Karl is a genius.

Can we also talk about the way the models were instructed to skip and frolic about????!!! Now that is luxury. How fun for modern couture to be shown in such a way. I think it's  f a b u l o u s !

Tim Blanks is da best.

One of my (and your soon-to-be) favorite fashion journalists, Tim Blanks has this fun ThrowBack Thursday video series on Style.com that you need to check out.
He is the Editor at Large for Style.com and I always appreciate when a video is offered as it gives a real perspective on what happened at the shows. I love that he offers a precise opinion you can trust on topics that are relevant and interesting.

I (like most fashion obsessed) have been a fan of his since his time at that hard-to-find Canadian show Fashion File. Whenever I stumbled up Fashion File, I felt as if the Fashion Gods were smiling on me. He provided a real, semi-candid look at fashion and I was/am always mesmerized.

*Yikes, Mr Galliano was a mess in that interview but he sure can work the runway hunty.

Look at that cutie in his early days.

And if that wasn't enough, he also won a CFDA Eugenia Sheppard Media Award in 2013.

Thank you Tim Blanks for being da best.
