You know, I felt guilty for liking A. Wang in years past bc it was mostly tees and what not, but boy has his collection grown. I am absolutely MAD for his interpretation of animal prints paired with these modern silhouettes. And how amazing are those heels????!!! Ahhhhhh! It's where it is at!! I also think, what a great American designer A. Wang has developed into. He has taken his collections further and further each season, growing his product, growing his client base. It's fabulous - congrats to you Mr. Wang. 

The Proenza Schouler boys have done it again!! They are a real dream and I just can't get enough of them. (when are they going to do mens??!!) More amazing (young) American designers for us to be proud of. Wtg boyz. 

Side note, we threw a dinner for them at my job and they were the most gracious, handsome, nice guys ever - which makes me appreciate their work even more.

Dior was a bore.

I don't know about you, but I've never been a Raf Simons fan so when the whole Galliano debacle happened and Raf replaced John - I was not too happy. (with any of it.) But I thought, who knows what will happen at the magical house of Dior...but out comes the Fall/Winter Couture shows and I was again not too happy. One of my girl friends put it best, "I thought Raf's show lacked FEMININITY, ROMANCE, and IMAGINATION.".
