the past few months, i was subletting on Perry St. in the west village. it's an amazing neighborhood and it was one of the highlights of my stay (besides my bestie, who is a real dream, & pies n thighs, which also is a real dream). I fell in love with the tree lined streets, cute dogs, great restaurants (westville!!!!), boutiques, gourmet delis, magnolia bakery's late hours, and the river front. not to mention martha stewart, grace coddington, and cynthia rowley have been spotted on my block.
my address also happened to be three doors down from carrie's apt from sex in the city. so there was a constant tourist presence in front of the building, snapping photos with hands on hips - "giving"... but not.
