weird twins, i kept seeing everyday for a week.

i am!! are you??

the fencing helmets (i almost called them hats...oops.) lined up on the left side of the windows were so beautiful, sorry my camera didn't capture the details.

ps. should we take up fencing? looks cute.

judging, judging, judging.

it was a party girl/lady bunny moment. except i wasn't high and looking for my headless baby earring, i was schlepping to chinatown to go to a fabric printer.

button vendor. she was such a nice woman, born raised ny, tough as shit, but invited me and jessica (other intern/friend) to yoga at the offices. of course we couldn't make it bc we were stuck in the office.

sorry for the blur. i was seriously stalking this woman. the shapes she was giving in the back were tremendous.

i meann...!!

confetti graffiti.

blood in meat packing.

chinatown. this is right before i got a free kelvin's.

second time i have spotted this rare ham. 1st time was at sugarland last fall.

erotic keith haring?

diane arbus as a grafitti artist, i guess...

the highline.

i love the highline. it felt like an oasis in the city, which is funny bc when i look at pictures it still looks pretty "urban"...but anyway, i enjoyed it. the space is beautifully landscaped and features many small, thoughful, details. so nice.

it was like a curtain of foliage, you could barely see the people behind the privacy greens.

chic building, no?

i still enjoy seeing the stackable car lots. it's v. now.

home sweet temporary home.

the past few months, i was subletting on Perry St. in the west village. it's an amazing neighborhood and it was one of the highlights of my stay (besides my bestie, who is a real dream, & pies n thighs, which also is a real dream). I fell in love with the tree lined streets, cute dogs, great restaurants (westville!!!!), boutiques, gourmet delis, magnolia bakery's late hours, and the river front. not to mention martha stewart, grace coddington, and cynthia rowley have been spotted on my block.

my address also happened to be three doors down from carrie's apt from sex in the city. so there was a constant tourist presence in front of the building, snapping photos with hands on hips - "giving"... but not.

there is something about sarah rutson, fashion director for lane crawford in asia, that i just L♥VE. she's a REEAAL woman. strong, confident, intelligent. this is who young girls should admire.
